RE'17 will host a Welcome Reception, a Banquet, and an Organization/Program dinner.

The registration desk will open on Sunday at the Reitoria of Universidade Nova de Lisboa (see the Conference Venue) for those who want to avoid the Monday morning rush. During the rest of the week, the registration desk will be available in that same area.
Welcome Reception
Tuesday, September 5th. 18:30 - 21:00
The RE'17 Welcome Reception will be hosted on Tuesday (September 5th) on the gardens of the Reitoria of the university. We will enjoy a buffet and will be given a taste of the students' university culture with their "Tunas" music and, of course, our famous Port Wine will facilitate getting to know fellow participants.
Organization/Program Committees Dinner
Wednesday, September 6th. 19:30 - 22:30
The Organization/Program committes dinner will be held at the centre of Lisbon, in the beautiful Ordem dos Engenheiros building, at Avenida António Augusto de Aguiar, 3D; Avenida de Sidónio Pais, 4E, Lisbon. (Ordem dos Engenheiros is the regulatory and licensing body for the engineering profession in Portugal.)
Conference Banquet
Thursday, September 7th. 19:30 - 24:00
The conference banquet takes place in Palácio de Xabregas, which is located in the east of Lisbon's Center. This palace was built in the 16th Century by the renowned navigator Tristão da Cunha and is one of the few buildings that resisted to the 1755 earthquake. It is an icon of Portuguese History, also known for having the biggest private collection of Portuguese tiles. Xabregas, one of Lisbon's typical neighbourhoods built over 500 years ago, is home to several other palaces and historical and cultural points of interest. Our banquet will be served by the exclusive Penha Longa Resort and includes entertainment with our traditional Fado being sung, accompanied by the unique 12-string Portuguese guitar and followed by a fun entertainment surprise.
Palácio de Xabregas is 9Km away from Reitoria. There will be buses leaving the conference venue at 19:00. The address is Rua de Xabregas, 40, 1900-440 Lisboa.
